Damascus Train Day

The Damascus Train Day is one of my favorite events located in Damascus, Maryland. I have enjoyed going there every year since we first lived in town. It has lots of model trains in all shapes and sizes. Up until 2010, it was located at the Damascus Public Library each November. Afterwards, the event's supervisor was retired from the library. In the summer of 2012, however, Train Day was finally back and became a part of the annual Damascus Days, which take place every July. As a result, the show was located at the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center. Summer 2013 was the second time Train Day took place at the center, but in autumn of that same year, it was brought back to the library. Here are some of my photos of this spectacular show from the last several years. However, I also recorded some videos so I highly recommend watching them available in my YouTube channel.

In addition, for those of you who live anywhere in Maryland, I will also post the date of the Damascus Train Day event every year. Please go to Brian's Blog to find the latest news regarding the show.
